GM Instrument Cluster Repair
Supported Chevrolet and GMC clusters can develop inaccurate gauges, weak lighting, blank odometer displays or intermittent operation. We assess the cluster and the reported symptoms before recommending repair.
- Speedometer, fuel, temperature, oil-pressure, voltage and tachometer complaints.
- Gauge movements, driver circuits, display and power concerns assessed where supported.
- Year, model, part number and symptoms are needed to confirm the service path.
Describe what the cluster is doing
Display and backlighting
Photographs help distinguish a dim odometer, missing display sections and failed illumination. Note whether the problem is constant or changes while the vehicle is operating.
Intermittent faults
Include when the fault begins, whether temperature or vibration affects it, and any prior repair history. Multiple symptoms can require board-level diagnosis beyond a gauge replacement.
Service review and return to the vehicle
Provide the vehicle year, model, VIN, cluster label and symptoms through Request Service. Local service is by arrangement; Canada-wide mail-in handling is available for eligible jobs after review. Inspection establishes repairability, available testing and the quote. Vehicle-side checks may be needed after refitting.
