Evaluation

Repairability depends on inspection

Photos can help us decide whether a board is worth sending in, but repairability is sometimes only clear once the board is inspected under magnification. Successful restoration is not guaranteed, especially when multilayer traces, carbonized board material, missing components, or severe corrosion are involved.
